How to clean and care for your dentures

There are two important aspects to maintaining your dentures:

  • Daily Cleaning

  • Stain Removal & Prevention

When cleaning your dentures use a soft bristle brush that is non-abrasive along with some soapy water. You can also use POLIDENT fresh cleanse or POLIDENT Paste. 

 After cleaning your dentures rinse with water to get rid of any soapy residue and dry with a clean cloth.

DO NOT use toothpaste because they contain abrasive compounds for removing tartar and plaque.

STAIN REMOVAL & PREVENTION

When removing stains on your dentures, we recommend using cleaning tablets such as Polident. You may also use a powered cleanser such as Renew, or Kleenite. 

 

DO NOT soak your dentures in bleach or any concentrations of bleach
